There are quite a few different types of irrigations system lawns out there for you to choose from. The most common is the standard PVC and scattered sprinkler heads which each cover a small portion of the yard. Another type of irrigation system is the “drip” irrigation which use a soaker-type hose that slowly and steadily soaks the ground with water. This type is the most efficient and wastes next to zero water. There are other hose connecting type sprinklers that squirt water out in all sorts of patterns. There are ones that go back and forth or spin out circular and even move as they water. Now that is a neat concept for sure. My favorite is the automatic timer irrigation systems that even adjust the amount of watering based on the weekly rainfall. That is pretty freaking slick if you ask me. However, you will probably need a significant amount of dough to cover the cost of a professional install.
